A restaurant offering made-from-scratch salads, wraps and bowls is coming soon to Sandy Springs.
Flower Child, a chain that bills itself as a "health-minded eatery" serving "seasonally driven, nourishing and soul-satisfying" food, will open its second metro Atlanta location at City Springs in October.
City Springs is the new mixed-use development in Sandy Springs that features the city’s City Hall, a performing arts center, shops, restaurants and housing.
An exact date for Flower Child’s opening wasn’t identified, but the eatery said in a press release that it will be hosting a job fair at 6400 Bluestone Road, Suite 170, to hire cashiers, servers, prep cooks, dishwashers and expeditors. The fairs will be Sept. 24 to 29 and Oct. 1 to 6, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Flower Child’s location at City Springs will cover 3,500 square-feet and will be able to seat 78 guests. It will also feature an outdoor patio that can seat more guests.
Based out of Phoenix, Arizona, Flower Child opened its first location in Georgia early this summer in Buckhead. It also has locations in California, Colorado, Maryland, Virginia, Texas, Nevada and Washington, D.C.
“With our new location in Sandy Springs, we’re excited to continue our mission of sharing good vibes and delicious food with our growing community of friends and neighbors,” Fox Restaurant Concepts founder Sam Fox said in a statement.
In addition to hummus, heirloom tomato toast, kale salads and eggplant, the restaurant also offers sweet gluten-free treats, ranging from cookies to pudding to brownies. Lemonade, coffee and local craft beer will be featured on the menu too.
The eatery will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
