Grab your pole and head to the Cobb youth fishing rodeo Saturday

Rod, reel and luck — er, skill — are all you need for a good time at the youth fishing rodeo Saturday in Cobb County.

Cobb’s Natural Resource Management department staff is holding the event at the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area’s Hyde Farm, 726 Hyde Road, from 9 to 11 a.m.

The county said the age divisions will be 3 to 6, 7 to 9, 10 to 12 and 13 to 16.

There will be trophies for the five biggest fish caught overall.
