Forsyth County residents have through May 2 to submit comments online on preferred design standards for single-family, residential zoning districts.

Survey results will be combined with comments from those who attended March listening sessions and an April open house on the “Res2,” “Res3” and “Res4” zoning districts. They will help the county “formulate a vision” for future residential development, officials said.

The survey is open until 11:59 p.m., May 2, at: http://www.forsythco.com/

“Design standards under consideration include exterior materials, windows, roofs, garages, lighting, building orientation to street, building scale and disposition on lot, site design, connectivity and walkability, landscaping and open space,” officials said.
