Decatur school district is the (almost) best in Georgia, study says

City Schools of Decatur ranked second on a listing of the best school districts in Georgia.

Niche.com, which named Buford's district the best, praised Decatur for teachers, clubs and activities, academics, diversity and more.

The ranking’s methodology is based on statistics from reader reviews and data from the U.S. Department of Education, including state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality, public school district ratings and more.
