On Oct. 21, DeKalb police found Jordan Gratton, 20, with multiple gunshot wounds in the Woodland Cove neighborhood.

Witnesses said they heard five or six gunshots and a loud bang as at least two cars sped away from the Flakes Mill Road home. A resident told police his mailbox and a neighbor’s were left on the ground.

He then saw Gratton’s body in the middle of the street.

A motive in the shooting has not been released.
