Cobb movie theater going all out for ‘Star Wars’ premiere Thursday

As Yoda might say: go to Studio Movie Grill in Marietta for the “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” premiere you might want to.

The new beer-serving Cobb County movie theater will have tons going on from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

Stormtroopers, Tusken raiders, Boba Fett and Kylo Ren will be there, said the theater, which is located at 40 Powers Ferry Road.

And fans will be able to see a "custom-built Land Speeder" — *The AJC nerdily pushes up its glasses* It wasn't clear if the theater meant Luke Skywalker's X-34 model or another model.

A Studio Movie Grill spokeswoman said that, as of 4:10 p.m. Wednesday, here was a sense of the ticket availability:

For the 8 p.m. showing 14 tickets were left.

8:30 p.m. showing - 20 tickets

9 p.m. showing - Sold out

9:30 p.m. showing - 31 tickets

10 p.m. showing - 26 tickets

10:30 p.m. showing - 58 tickets

May the force be with y’all, always.
