New hotdogs, glow-in-the-dark mini golf and Cutco knives. What do they have in common?
They’re all coming to Town Center at Cobb.
The Kennesaw shopping mall is adding several new stores ahead of the busy holiday season, according to its owner Simon Malls.
The mini golf course will span 8,000 square feet in the upper level of the Sears wing next to Things Remembered. It will have a “laser maze” and is expected to open in mid-November.

Hawgs & Dawgs will open in December to serve up “Southern barbecue” and hot dogs in the food court next to Charley’s Philly Steaks.
Cakes, whoopie pies and ice cream can be had at Red Velvet Mama starting in November next to Sbarro in the food court. It will also offer coffee and hot chocolate.
As far as things you shouldn’t eat, Fan’s Field will open in late November. It will sell sports clothing and merchandise in a 1,400-square-foot spot on the lower level near the food court entrance.

Toy Place will open in a 4,200-square-foot space in the lower level of the Belk wing across from Express. It will sell high-quality toys, games and puzzles.
And especially for the holidays, there will be pop-up stores:

• Picture Keeper
• Fullscope Sports
• Sprint
• Hickory Farms (think sausage and cheese)
• See’s Candies
• Go! Calendars
• Polar X (although it sounds like a government code name for the War on Christmas, they just sell holiday decor and personalized ornaments)
• Inspire Me Bracelets
• Oakwood Gift Wrap (from Dec. 6 to 24)
