School will be out the week of Nov. 19-23 for Cobb County and Marietta City schools as well as for many homeschool and private students for Thanksgiving Break.

Cobb County Public Libraries will close at 5 pm on Nov. 21 and will be closed Nov. 22 and Nov. 23, according to a county statement.

However, Cobb libraries will open at 10 a.m. on Nov. 24 for the regular weekend schedule.

Many activities are planned throughout Thanksgiving Break, including on the weekend.

An exception is South Cobb Regional Library, 805 Clay Road, Mableton that reopened with limited services at 10 a.m. Nov. 15 due to renovation.

There will be limited availability of public computers and access to library books and other items through December.

Cobb libraries near the South Cobb location include the Lewis A. Ray, Powder Springs, Sweetwater Valley and Vinings libraries.
