A recent study ranks three cities in Cobb County as some of the safest in Georgia.

The list is from SafeHome, a home security research group, and created a safety score for each city.

The firm said it used 2015 FBI and 2010 U.S. Census data to create its scores, and looked at the rate of violent crimes like murder, as well as property crimes like burglary. The trends of those crimes were also a factor.
