Celebrate St. Patrick's Day early at Avalon in North Fulton


To start your St. Patrick’s Day celebrations a day early, head to north Fulton County.

At Avalon, they’ll be starting the party the night before, on March 16.

Alpharetta’s mixed-use development will host “the Luck of Avalon” that evening from 5:30 to 10 p.m. It’s free to attend, but prices on the many offerings of food and drinks will vary.

The King O’Sullivan School of Irish Dance will start things off with a performance at 5:30 p.m. Then, at 6 p.m., the North Georgia Pipes and Drums will perform. From there, the band “Az-Izz” will take things over, playing a variety of tunes throughout the evening.

For the kids, face painting booths will be set up from the beginning of the event until 9 p.m. Avalon will also have an area set up by Smilebooth where folks can create a GIF to share online.

Of course, green beer will be available for purchase for the revelers over 21 years old. Other food and drink vendors will be set up too, and all of Avalon’s eateries and shops will be open.
