The third suspect wanted on charges in the shooting death of Anton Watson was arrested in recent weeks, Atlanta police said.

Jeremy Sims, who had been on the Atlanta Police Department's top "most wanted" list, was arrested after a new address was established for him with assistance from the U.S. Marshal's Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, police said. Officers surrounded the Stockbridge residence on Feb. 16 and knocked on the door to execute the arrest warrant.

The homeowner who answered confirmed that Sims was inside, police said. Sims was called out and taken into custody without incident; he is currently in Fulton County jail on charges of murder, false imprisonment, criminal attempt to commit armed robbery, kidnapping and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Fellow suspects Shaquille Russ and Eranus Alexander Jr. were arrested in December and February, respectively.

Watson, the 35-year-old victim, was found slumped against the front door of a Cobb County residence on Oct. 25. Earlier that day around 2:50 a.m., officers arrived at a package store on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway to find several vehicles damaged from gunfire, but didn't locate any victims.

About five hours later, Cobb County Police found Watson, of Smyrna, dead at a home on Golden Pine Road in Austell.

Atlanta and Cobb investigators determined the shooting happened where the cars were found in Atlanta. Atlanta investigators found probable cause to charge Sims, Alexander and Russ in connection with the homicide.
