Will Presidents Day affect Gwinnett’s trash collection schedule?

No. No it will not.

The majority of Gwinnett’s county offices will be closed Monday for the Presidents Day holiday, but your local garbage men and women won’t be so lucky. Presidents Day is not a trash and recycling holiday in unincorporated Gwinnett, which is most of the county.

Pickup will not be affected Monday or the rest of the week.

Those who live within the limits of a city should check with that city regarding trash pickup.

Trash collection aside, all Gwinnett County offices besides “those operations required for the comfort and safety of residents” will be closed Monday.
