In a news release, officials said the George Pierce Park upgrades will include a “net climbing tower with flexible platforms,” a “small climbing dome” and an area for toddlers. The Mountain Park Park upgrade will include a “variety of slides, climbers, activity panels and [a] tower,” as well as a wheelchair-accessible “sensory tunnel.”

No potential timeline for the completion of the new playgrounds was released.
