A van struck a Gwinnett County school bus Wednesday afternoon, school district officials said.

Fourteen Peachtree Ridge High School students were on the bus, but none were seriously injured, said district spokesman Bernard Watson.

The incident occurred shortly before 2:30 p.m. at Sugarloaf Parkway and Meadow Church Road, near the Infinite Energy Center, officials said. A Ford van struck the school bus on the driver’s side of the bus, Watson said.

The bus driver and the driver of the van were hospitalized, Watson said. The extent of their injuries wasn’t immediately known.
