Gwinnett County school board members have appointed principals to three elementary schools.
Craig Barlow, an assistant superintendent for elementary schools, will become the principal of Gwin Oaks Elementary School. Tonya Burnley, who had been its principal was named earlier this month the principal of Magill Elementary School.
Lisa Marie Johnson, who had been principal of Lawrenceville Elementary School, will be the new principal of Head Elementary School. Christine Knox, the current principal of Head Elementary School, was appointed earlier this month to be the next principal of Anderson-Livsey Elementary School.
Lesley Pendleton, an assistant principal of North Gwinnett Middle School, will be the next principal of Berkeley Lake Elementary School. The current principal, Susan Bearse, is retiring in June.
All three appointments take effect on July 3.
