A woman accused of killing her grandparents Sunday was charged with murder and aggravated assault, according to jail records.

Cassandra Bjorge, 17, had been in the hospital since police said she and boyfriend Johnny Rider, 19, stabbed Wendy and Randall Bojorge, both 63. She was booked in the Gwinnett County Detention Center on Wednesday evening.

Less than two hours before the stabbing deaths, the couple allegedly attacked and pepper sprayed Rider’s sister Mindy and her boyfriend Kevin. According to a police report, Bjorge beat Mindy with a baseball bat. Rider, police said, continued to attack Kevin.

Rider was booked into the jail late Monday night on murder, aggravated assault and theft charges.

Police found the Lawrenceville grandparents after unsuccessful weeklong welfare checks at their home.

Authorities later found Bjorge and Rider at a Suwanee home with self-inflicted stab wounds. They were taken to the hospital and treated.

No motive has been determined in the deadly stabbing.
