Headed to Lenox Square tonight for the Macy's Great Tree Lighting? You're in luck.

After a beautiful fall day with highs in the mid-50s, weather Sunday night is expected to be comfortable and cool, according to Channel 2 Action News. Temperatures should be in the mid- to upper 50s, and it’s not expected to rain, Channel 2 meteorologist Brian Monahan said.

The tree lighting airs live on Channel 2 WSB-TV at 7 p.m., hosted by Jovita Moore and Zach Klein.

Expect some traffic delays around Lenox Square due to the big event.

By Monday, a cold front with clouds should move into the area, but showers are not expected, Monahan said.

Highs will be in the mid-60s Monday, but look for mid- to upper 50s with lots of sunshine Tuesday and Wednesday.

On Thanksgiving Day, expect a partly cloudy sky and highs in the low 60s.

Traffic pacing will occur several nights this week on I-285 West, the Georgia Department of Transportation announced. It’s being done to allow crews to move equipment across the interstate for bridge construction in the median.

The pacing will be done Saturday through Wednesday from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. from Ashford Dunwoody Road to Roswell Road, GDOT said.

The dates could change, due to weather or other factors.
