Police in Atlanta and Cobb County have received numerous tips after releasing sketches of the man accused of posing as a cop and sexually assaulting two women.

“The sketch has generated a large number of tips,” Cobb police Sgt. Wayne Delk told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “The case remains active as the tips are being investigated.”

Atlanta detectives are also investigating numerous tips, Officer Lisa Bender said Friday afternoon. But no suspects have been identified.

On March 9, two women reported similar assaults involving a man who pulled them over in a car with blue lights on the hood. Police believe the incidents could be related. Each victim met with a GBI sketch artist, who created drawings released Wednesday.
