The gym-goer who stole a television after pretending to work out has been identified, Gwinnett County police said.

Ibrahim Halil Gordu, 31, of Norcross, took off his shirt at an apartment complex gym and returned — wearing a gray sweatshirt — with an accomplice to make off with a flat-screen TV, Cpl. Michele Pihera said Friday.

Gordu, who is at large, has an active warrant for second-degree burglary, according to police.

The identity of the other man involved in the theft is not known.

The burglary happened about 1 a.m. Feb. 9 at the Bridgewater complex in the 1500 block of Ridge Brook Trail near Duluth, police said. Cameras captured the men removing the television from the wall.

“Tips are still needed to conclude this investigation,” Pihera said.
