Milton police ID suspect who allegedly took upskirt photos of woman at Walmart

Police say surveillance video shows the man after the crime.

Police have identified a man who allegedly took pictures up a woman's skirt at a north Fulton Walmart.

Milton police have issued an arrest warrant for James Barron, 27, of Ellijay, Channel 2 Action News reported. He’s charged with surreptitious recording of intimate parts, which is a felony.

Police told Channel 2 that a Gilmer County detective recognized Barron, who he recently arrested for the same offense. Images of Barron were allegedly captured by surveillance cameras inside the Milton Walmart.

After hearing two clicks, which sounded like they came from a cellphone, Ami Tuckley told police she turned around to see Barron’s hand up her skirt, Channel 2 reported. She then pulled out her phone to try to take pictures of him.

“He’s a predator. He’s a low-life predator,” Tuckley told the news station. “After I took his picture I yelled, ‘How does it feel? I'm going to put your picture all over the internet.’”

Tuckley posted a picture allegedly of Barron on Nextdoor, Channel 2 reported.

She also told the news station she ran outside immediately afterward and found a Milton police officer in his car. However, police told Channel 2 the officer didn’t submit a report of the incident.

The suspect was last seen leaving in a white Ford F-150 with a sunroof. Anyone with information is asked to call Milton police at 678-242-2613.
