A man who ran onto I-285 North early Wednesday was killed when a car hit him, DeKalb County police said.
The driver of the 2014 Chevrolet Impala that hit the man lost control of the car and crashed into a guardrail along the interstate on-ramp from Glenwood Road, police spokeswoman Shiera Campbell said.

“(Emergency medical crews) evaluated the victim as having no signs of life at the scene,” Campbell said.
The driver’s condition is not known.
No identities were released. The investigation is ongoing.
