Man, 39, charged with sexually abusing 15-year-old girl

A 39-year-old man is charged with sexually abusing a 15-year-old girl that he knew, a Hall County sheriff’s official said.

Jeffery Dean Boger of Gainesville was arrested Tuesday after a months-long investigation, Sheriff Gerald Couch said.

“Jeffery Dean Boger sexually abused the 15-year-old female victim at a residence,” Couch said.

The victim told investigators the incident happened between December and January, according to Couch.

Boger was arrested at his home and is in the Hall County jail without bond. He’s charged with aggravated sexual battery and child molestation.

The case remains under investigation.
