Police are searching for this man, who allegedly sexually assaulted someone at a Marietta extended stay hotel in October.

Cobb County police are asking for help identifying a man who allegedly sexually assaulted someone at a Marietta extended stay hotel.

The suspect, who is described as in his late 20s, is accused of an assault at the InTown Suites at 2030 Roswell Road on Oct. 7, police said in a news release Tuesday.

The victim and the suspect both used the cellphone app “Grindr” that allowed them to see members nearby, the release said. The victim told police that the suspect arrived within five minutes of them communicating through the app.

Once he arrived, he’s accused of overpowering and sexually assaulting the person, the release said.

He’s also described as weighing about 200 to 230 pounds and being about 5-foot-10 to 6 feet tall, the release said. He also had a short beard at the time of the incident.
