A man accused of killing a woman insider her northeast Georgia home last week was arrested in South Carolina, authorities said.

Tyrus Lyntrail Clark, 40, was arrested early Monday in Anderson, S.C., according to the sheriff in Georgia’s Hart County.

Marilyn Patrice Rucker Clark, 43, was found dead Friday in her Hart County home after authorities received a call of suspicious activity on Eagle Grove School Road, Sheriff Mike Cleveland said.

Officials have not said how the woman died. And it’s unclear if the suspect and the victim are related.

Clark is being held in the Anderson County Detention Center awaiting extradition, Cleveland said.
