Atlanta police are seeking leads in connection with the weekend shooting death of the brother of music producer Drumma Boy, a spokeswoman said Thursday.
Investigators think Ferrell Miles, 48, and a “younger” man “may have gotten into a verbal dispute,” which escalated into gunfire, Officer Lisa Bender said.
Miles, also known as Ensayne Wayne, was fatally shot in front of his brother’s studio and boutique, The House of Fresh, on Saturday in the 1700 block of Howell Mill Road, police said.
He was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he died.
The man authorities are after drove from the scene in a black sedan that had been parked in the Firestone parking lot nearby, according to Bender.
Drumma Boy confirmed the death on Instagram.
