Investigation underway in teen’s shooting death 


Authorities are investigating what led to a shooting that killed a 17-year-old Conyers boy early Tuesday morning, the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office said. 

Friends rushed Christian Manuel to Rockdale Piedmont hospital, where he was pronounced dead. 

“Presently, this case is under investigation as to the events leading up to the shooting,” Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Yolande Lovingood-Moore said in a statement.
