A 1957 Chevy Bel Air was reported stolen in Cherokee County.

Vintage-car enthusiasts would recognize a Tri-Five Chevrolet anywhere, especially one in tip-top condition.

Canton police hope someone in Cherokee County can recognize a 1957 Chevy Bel Air that was reported stolen Friday.

The theft took place around 9 p.m. at the AMC Theater on Reinhardt College Parkway, Canton police said in a Facebook post. Police spokesman Pacer Cordry told AJC.com that the theater does not have any exterior cameras.

This car, along with models from 1955 and 1956, make up what’s known as the Tri-Five Chevys, which are popular vehicles among collectors.

While the cars might not be super rare, they’re very desirable to enthusiasts and can be worth a pretty penny if they’re in good shape.
