Dogs found in ‘urine-soaked bedding,’ Cobb County cops say


A Kennesaw man faces 26 animal cruelty charges after nearly a dozen dogs were found in unsanitary conditions, officials said. 

David William Edwards, 54, remains in the Cobb County jail Thursday after dogs were found in “urine-soaked bedding” and in improper ventilation at his home on the 3900 block of Lullwater Main, according to an arrest warrant. 

“The ammonium level was measured at 17 pp, to 48 ppm, which exceeds the acceptable limit of 2 ppm,” the warrant states. 

Edwards’ bond is set at $8,470.
