A bicyclist said he has a fractured neck after a pickup truck driver allegedly caused a crash in Marietta and then left the scene.
Cyclist Stewart Bryson had a GoPro camera attached to his bicycle Sunday when a truck stopped in front of him, knocking him off his bike, according to Channel 2 Action News.
“There was no known ... reason for the truck to brake suddenly,” Marietta police said in the incident report.
The pickup truck driver, 69-year-old Phillip Harris, then allegedly drove away.
"I went unconscious,” Bryson told Channel 2. “I don't know for how long, but later I was just staring up at the blue sky."
Harris has been charged with misdemeanor hit-and-run and other offenses. He was released from the Cobb County Adult Detern
"I may make a full recovery,” Bryson said. “I'm not guaranteed of that."
