The parents of three children were arrested Wednesday after authorities say they starved them and lived in deplorable conditions.

Jessica Dean London, 31, and David Ricky London, 30, were arrested following a visit by the Division of Family and Children Services, Hall County Sheriff’s Sgt. Scott Ware said in a statement.

The children, two 9-year-olds and a 6-year-old, were “deprived of necessary food and sustenance to the extent that their health was jeopardized, resulting in medical treatment,” Ware said.

Authorities also said the residence had a severe lice infestation and was without heat and air conditioning. The children were also not enrolled in school.

The Londons were booked into the Hall County jail on first-degree cruelty to children and two counts of second-degree cruelty to children. They were given an $11,600 bond.
