After evading police for a few hours, a wanted Gwinnett County man and the man who let him hide out at his home were arrested, the Hall County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
Steven Michael Walden, 29, of Dacula, and Jonathan Kyle Liston, 30, of Buford, remained in the Hall County jail Wednesday, just days after the nearly four-hour manhunt, sheriff’s office spokesman Derreck Booth said.
The Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office pulled Walden over about 11:30 a.m. Monday on East Jones Drive near Ga. 347 in Hall County, Booth said. Walden was wanted in Gwinnett on misdemeanor charges of obstruction and driving without a license.

At some point during the stop, Walden ran from deputies.
Gwinnett authorities alerted Hall officials, who joined the search. A tip led deputies to the area of Countryside Village of Lake Lanier, but Walden wasn’t there. Hall deputies eventually found Walden at a mobile home park in the 7000 block of Evergreen Way.
He was hiding in the laundry room of a home owned by Liston, Booth said.
Walden now faces one felony and two misdemeanor counts of obstruction of an officer. He is also charged with misdemeanor theft and driving with a suspended license. He was given a $14,200 bond.
Booth said Liston knew Walden and lied to deputies about him being in the home. He was charged with one misdemeanor count of obstruction. His bond is set at $2,950.
