Three people were hurt after a driver crashed into a Lithonia car wash following a medical episode, DeKalb County fire officials said.

About 3 p.m. Wednesday, the driver drove into Cartopia Car Care Center in the 2600 block of Panola Road, DeKalb fire Capt. Eric Jackson told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The driver slammed into the building, injuring two people seated inside, Jackson said.

One of the victims is in critical condition. The other sustained injuries from broken glass and debris and is in stable condition.

Jackson said he is prohibited from verifying what the medical episode was, but said the driver is in stable condition.

Authorities have not released the identities of those involved.
