A bullet was found on the floor of a classroom at Alpharetta High School, Fulton County Schools spokeswoman Donna Lowry said.

The bullet was discovered during the school’s third-period block, which is between 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

“Fulton County Schools police searched the belongings of those in the classroom and those in the hallway and found nothing,” Lowry told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Alpharetta police, who responded to an unrelated incident, told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution no suspects have been identified.

The investigation is ongoing.
