Normal operations have resumed at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport after officials determined an unattended bag was safe.

Operations have resumed at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport after officials determined an unattended bag was safe.

“An unattended bag was cleared ... at 1:22 p.m. today,” the airport said in a tweet. “There was minimal impact to operations.”

On Twitter, people said the road leading to the airport was blocked off with police, fire engines and dogs.

Another person tweeted that she tried to check in at the south terminal said they were moved to the international terminal.

The FAA website is not currently showing a ground delay or ground stop.
