Have some pre-Thanksgiving fun with a visit to World of Coca-Cola, an Allman Brothers Tribute or watch pros at Bellina Alimentari cut open an 80-pound wheel of Parmigiano Reggiano.

World of Coca-Cola Holiday Celebration

Visit World of Coca-Cola now through Jan. 1 to experience a range of holiday festivities. Guests can enjoy seasonal beverages such as Apple Pie Sprite and Gingerbread Coke, a crowd favorite. Special exhibits include a tour of holiday themed advertising and artifacts and the "History of the Coca-Cola Santa". You can take pictures with Santa's sleigh at the 7-foot-tall Coca-Cola Polar Bear and do some holiday shopping at The Coca-Cola Store which features apparel, glassware, home goods and other items for the whole family. $13 - $17. 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Nov. 21. Tribute: Allman Brothers Band, City Winery

This celebration of the Allman Brothers Band is a faithful recreation of the music by an eight-piece group using vintage equipment. Tribute will interpret the Allman's catalog to bring the songs from the '60s and '70s alive again. Fans can expect to hear favorite tunes from the Allman Brothers catalog. $20- $25. 8 p.m. Nov. 21. Parmigiano Reggiano Wheel Cutting, Bellina Alimentari

Don't miss your chance to see a wheel of Parmigiano Reggiano being cracked open. The 800-year-old recipe for making the cheese involves an 80-pound wheel that must be opened by hand in order to retain the crumbly texture.
