Keira Knightley,  known for her role as Elizabeth Swann in the “Pirates of the Caribbean” series, is the Sugar Plum Fairy.

Morgan Freeman (Drosselmeyer), Helen Mirren (Mother Ginger) and Jayden Fowora-Knight (Philip) round out the cast.

The movie is inspired by a story by E.T.A Hoffmann, according to Disney.

Disney says the plot centers around Clara as she looks for a key that will unlock a box that contains a gift from her late mother. Her godfather, Drosselmeyer gives her a golden thread which Clara follows into the fantasy world. There she has to go through the Land of the Snowflakes, Land of the Flowers and Land of the Sweets to finally end her journey in the Fourth Realm where Mother Ginger lives to retrieve the key and get home.

The film will hit theaters on Nov. 2.
