Where can I watch the St. Patrick's Day parade in Savannah? The parade begins on Abercorn Street at E. Gwinnett Street. (near Forsyth Park), goes north (toward the Savannah River) to E. Conyers bills its St. Patrick’s Day parade as the “world’s fastest growing St. Patrick’s Day Parade.” The long-time tradition includes the annual crowning of children’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade king and queen, a Leprechaun Lookalike Contest for adults and a pet costume contest at the conclusion of the parade. There are also complimentary Irish-themed refreshments at the Olde Town Pavilion.

Dublin, which shares a name with that great city in Ireland, has an entire month of events to St. Patrick. culminating in the annual parade, held this year on March 18.
