Check out the following metro Atlanta companies making big hires this February:

Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen

Lawrenceville will soon be home to a new Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen, and more than 250 employees will be needed. The Cajun restaurant is looking to fill 80 back-of-the-house and 175 front-of-the-house jobs. These positions include line cooks, dishwashers, hosts and servers.

If you'd like to be considered for a position, visit their new location at 2038 Duluth Highway, Lawrenceville, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., call 470-717-3989 or email jointheteam@pappas.com.

Georgia Highway Contractors Association (GHCA) members

Members of the association are hosting a job fair on Feb. 3 from 9 a.m.-noon at the Latin American Association, 2750 Buford Highway NE, Atlanta. Eleven general contractors who have open positions will be at the job fair, and while experience helps, it isn't required. Open positions include asphalt pavement workers, traffic control workers, truck drivers (CDL) and heavy equipment operators.

You'll need to pass a drug screening, have a valid driver's license and be willing to work hard. Walk-ins are welcome, or you can register here in advance. Bring copies of your resume if you have them.
