Fright Fest scary character

Six Flags Over Georgia is looking for part-time employees to join in on the fun and scares at their annual Fright Fest. You'll also have to be comfortable wearing costumes, stage makeup and possibly prosthetics so you can play the role of a scare actor. The job also involves walking for long periods of time and requires you to energetically interact with guests without breaking character.

If this sounds like your idea of fun, apply here.

Spirit Halloween sales associates and managers

Spirit Halloween stores pop up throughout the country this time of year, including at several metro Atlanta locations. The stores carry decorations, costumes, makeup, and other Halloween-themed items, and they're currently hiring managers as well as store associates.

Sales associates will be responsible for sign waving, general sales, housekeeping and more. You'll need to be at least 16 years old and will need to be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds. Apply here if you're interested.

Pumpkin Festival helper

Stone Mountain Park's annual month-long Pumpkin Festival has plenty of games, shows, parades and more, and they hire employees for this event as well as for Snow Mountain. From candy makers to ride attendants, the park has a wide variety of openings.

If you miss out on getting a Pumpkin Festival job, they're also hiring for Snow Mountain and other special events. Apply here to work at the Pumpkin Festival or another job at the park.

NetherSpawn acting troupe

Netherworld is entering its 21st year of providing haunts, screams and fear to those who want to get a scare. The haunted house has been named in several rankings of top haunted houses and casts in the country, and if you'd like to join the ranks of the NetherSpawn acting troupe, you can apply here.

To work at Netherworld, you'll need to be at least 18 years old and live in the metro Atlanta area. You'll need to be willing to work nights, and it helps to have special skills such as makeup or acting experience.

Party City specialists

At this time of year, Party City still stocks birthday party decorations and other year-round items, but much of the store is taken over by everything Halloween. The chain has around 20 stores in the metro Atlanta area, and they're looking for part-time and full-time merchandise specialists as well as other positions such as an operations manager.

Apply here, and if you snag a job and like it, there's always another holiday around the corner!
