Trina Braxton, part of the Braxton sisters, will be joining the second season of the Tegna/TV One talk show "Sister Circle," replacing comic Kiana Dancie.

Braxton, a 43-year-old singer, actress and entrepreneur who is part of WE-TV's "Braxton Family Values," will bring additional star power to complement the three original show members: veteran radio host Rashan Ali, "Married to Medicine" reality star Quad Webb-Lunceford and R&B singer Syleena Johnson.

Executive producer Helen Swanson said Braxton subbed in a couple of times and she immediately liked the chemistry with the other ladies and found her "soulfulness" attractive.

Dancie was a relatively unknown comedienne before she joined the show last fall. Her final day on the show will be Tuesday. Swanson said Dancie has been able to leverage her exposure into bigger stand-up gigs and movie roles.

The new season with Braxton aboard officially begins Monday, September 10.

The hour-long daily show, which airs locally on 11Alive at 9 a.m. and nationally at noon on TV One, focuses on a range of issues such as relationships, money, family and pop culture. It is shot at 11Alive studios in Atlanta.

According to the press release, "in the past year, 'Sister Circle' has amassed more than 125,000 followers on Instagram and has been featured on some of the hottest social and digital media sites, including Bossip, Shaderoom and The Source/Her Source. Celebrity guests have included Ice Cube, Gabrielle Union, Will Packer and Bobby Brown."
