After lengthy negotiations, NeNe Leakes on Wednesday agreed to return on a part-time basis for the tenth season of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," according to TMZ.
UPDATE: NeNe told Ryan Cameron of V-103 that she is not part time, though it's unclear if she is full time based on her phraseology:
I’m not part time… I’m there! I’m there as much as anybody would expect me to be there. The last time I think that anybody saw me I was pretty much part-time, I came like on as a ‘friend’ but I’m pretty much there this time. It’s been a long time since I was there there there, but I’m like there there there this time.
She joins another original "Real Housewives" castmate Kim Zolciak, who is returning in a recurring role. Zolciak was on the show through season five and made a brief appearance season nine. She also has a long-running spin-off show on Bravo "Don't Be Tardy." Leakes left season seven, made a small appearance season eight but did not show up at all season nine.
The show has begun production for season 10 but Leakes has yet to begin filming.
If Phaedra Parks leaves, as many anticipate after the reunion debacle, there is a potential opening for a new person to fill one of the coveted full-time slots. Then again, Bravo has no set number of full-time cast members for any of its "Real Housewives" shows.
The show itself won't comment on casting until later in the summer. RHOA typically returns in October.
