Sports talk radio stations gear up for Georgia-Alabama championship game

Less than a year after 92.9/The Game and 680/The Fan gorged on the Atlanta Falcons in the Super Bowl, they are gearing up for another bonanza: the National College Football Championship Game featuring UGA and Alabama, a match-up made in SEC heaven.

And they have some competition as well: News 95.5 and AM 750 WSB, which is home of the Dawgs, will be priming the pump as well.

Here's a summary of what each station is doing with plenty of opportunities to meet your radio hosts in person:

Thursday  8:05 p.m.: Exclusive encore of the Rose Bowl -  Play-by-play of the UGA/Oklahoma game

Friday  9 a.m.-11 a.m.   Eric Von Haessler and ‘The Von Haessler Doctrine’ live at the World Congress Center at the College Football Playoff Fan events

Friday  7 p.m.-9 p.m.: Mark Arum live at the World Congress Center at the College Football Playoff Fan events
