RHOA notes: Cynthia Bailey, Kenya Moore join 'Sharknado 4' while Cynthia talks marriage troubles

Amazingly, the dopey, campy Syfy franchise "Sharknado" is still alive and kicking. The fourth film is due out later this year.

The third film featured Kim Richards ("Real Housewives of Beverly Hills"). The upcoming fourth one will include "Real Housewives of Atlanta" member Cynthia Bailey as a rocket scientist. I know, I know. Those casting folks there at "Sharknado" understand the word irony! Her character name: Tech Addison!  Credit the Wrap for this exclusive.

Bailey will be joined by fellow RHOA cast member Kenya Moore, playing a PR executive. Moore made the announcement on her Instagram page, even fashioning her own "press release."

The fourth film based on shark-laden tornadoes includes newcomers Gary Busey, Cheryl Tiegs and Tommy Davidson to a cast that already includes Ian Ziering and Tara Reid.

Cynthia also recently talked with Sirius XM's radio show "Reality Checked w/ Amy Phillips" to discuss the status of her marriage to Peter Thomas.

They married during her first season on the show in 2010 and they've had a fair share of ups and downs. This past season began rather shakily. Peter had been spending so much time in Charlotte at this bar, Cynthia felt neglected. He was also seen flirting with a woman on the Web and that got her even more upset.

Toward the end of the season, taped toward the end of last year, the couple seemed to be doing better. The cameras even showed her giving him a massage in the season finale two weeks ago.

She told Phillips that things remain rough between her and Peter, according to Straight From the A:

If we were married three years before we got on the show, that would’ve been better. I just have nothing to compare my marriage to outside of being on the show. It’s just been difficult. I mean, the wedding was difficult. Everything about our marriage has been difficult.”

I usually have all the answers for all the questions, but when it comes to my marriage, I just don’t know right now.

I just know that it’s not good right now.”

Peter then called Michelle Brown of Straight from the A to say he hopes not to be on the show next season, that it has been detrimental to their marriage.

Those shows are created to destroy marriage, not to empower marriage… so I’m choosing to bow out.  That’s my choice.

This season was so beautiful to me the way it ended…. and I don’t want to f**k that up.

And look who visited Kim Fields while she was rehearsing for week two of "Dancing With the Stars" and Latin week. (She also gets mentored by Gloria Estefan.)
