With Chris Cuomo moved to prime time, there has been a shift in CNN's morning shows. John Berman has already been placed in "New Day" and Jim Sciutto gets Berman's former anchor spot on "CNN Newsroom" from 9 to 11 a.m.

Sciutto, CNN's chief security correspondent, will retain that reporting role. He began his new role this past Monday, working side by side with Poppy Harlow.

"Sciutto will bring his extensive experience covering the intelligence community, foreign policy and the Department of Defense, including more than a decade as a foreign correspondent based overseas, to the New York-based program alongside Harlow," the network said in an announcement.
