Three years after she joined Power 96.1, Riley Couture is leaving Atlanta for a new morning co-host gig in D.C. at the Kane Show on Hot 99.5

The station is also part of the IHeartRadio family. Couture joined Power in 2013 with Scotty Kay. They were a team for about two years before Scotty Kay was booted despite high ratings. (Scotty Kay with producer Bret Mega moved to Dallas and are now heard on weekends on Q100 as well.)

She briefly joined PK and Denise but that clearly wasn't a good fit so management moved her temporarily to mid-days in September. It seemed like only a matter of time before she would depart when her three-year contract was up.

But it's all good for her: she goes to another top 10 market with the same company, which clearly means the higher ups still like her.

The Tampa native joined the Kane Show this week, which also includes John, Rose and Erick. (This D.C. morning show like to go just by first names, apparently.)

In a press release, Riley said "Throughout my career, people often asked me what my dream job would be, and the answer has always been to become part of the Kane Show. To be given this opportunity is truly a dream come true."

The Kane Show has been around for ten years and outside of Kane, has seen a lot of cast turnover.

You can listen to the show in full every day here. Here was today's show:

The Kane Show, by the way, does something called The War of the Roses. Sound familiar, classic Bert Show fans?
