Seven months after the Atlanta Falcons' historic loss at the Super Bowl, NBC Sports is profiling Falcons and Atlanta United FC owner Arthur Blank Saturday at 2 p.m. on NBC.

The one-hour profile will focus on Blank's personal and professional life. He talked to NBC Sports about his father's death when he was 15, creating Home Depot and his time as an NFL owner since 2002, including his relationship with Michael Vick and the Super Bowl this past February.

He also discussed his brand new soccer franchise the Atlanta United FC and the construction of the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium along with his efforts to reshape that area of downtown Atlanta.

"The story of Arthur Blank extends far beyond the playing fields of his Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United FC," said Jon Miller, President of Programming for NBC Sports Group, in a press release. "Viewers will enjoy this look at Arthur's life from boyhood through his building of The Home Depot to the present day, as he plays vital business and philanthropic roles in the downtown revitalization of Atlanta. He is an exceptional example of a true leader and visionary."

The documentary talks to a host of people from Blank's life including his wife Angela, Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, Home Depot co-founder Bernie Marcus, Atlanta mayor Kasim Reed, Falcons head coach Dan Quinn, Vick and Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan.

“He has been a Super Bowl-caliber owner for us the whole time I have been here," Ryan said during the documentary.
