It took moving Heaven and Earth and the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" producers to convince Marc Daly to finally appear on the show and just as the season is nearing its conclusion.

There were plenty of rumors of Kenya Moore's peach on the show being thrown out season 11 following her secret wedding and Daly's refusal to be on the show. She didn't even show up for a few episodes when everyone else went to Barcelona.

Kenya clearly didn't want this cash cow to go away and the handsome nose-pierced New York restaurateur decided it was time to help out his wife.

It happened at Kenya's party to reveal her domestic violence PSA. She brought along domestic abuse survivors, who were given massive makeovers with donated dresses. Kenya is a kind host.

She tells the ladies that Marc isn't coming but surprise! He shows up. (I'm sure that was not a surprise per se. A camera was conveniently trained on him as he entered.)

He is polite and says nothing remotely controversial. When asked if Kenya is moving to New York, he says, "That's the million dollar question."

Other storylines:

  • Porsha Williams goes roller skating with her work colleague Rickey Smiley, his second appearance on the show. This appears to be a way to fuel speculation they might be dating though I have not heard any evidence that is the case. She needs a fresh story line so this is her attempt since most of the ladies don't want to socialize with her. Also, did she apologize enough for her sins? The other housewives don't think so although there is video evidence of multiple apologies. NeNe thinks she hasn't been sincere enough.
  • Kandi Burruss feels bad that her producers and other members of Xscape pulled NeNe Leakes off the tour after her Uber rape joke. Speaking of stand-up comedy, her 18-year-old son Brentt wants to follow in her footsteps in stand-up but we have no idea if he's any good because we only see him talking about it. She is naturally wary knowing how tough show biz is.
  • Sheree Whitfield is building out her basement at Chateau Sheree and hopes her man Tyrone Gilliams gets out of prison early so he can enjoy his "man cave" she's working on. Sheree breaks the news of her relationship to her youngest daughter, who is understandably aghast. But her daughter does say diplomatically, "I'm going to be as open-minded as I can." So far, as of March, 2018, there is no sign of him leaving prison any time soon. (In 2013, he was sentenced for 10 years in federal prison for running a Ponzi scheme. Philadelpha magazine dubbed him in 2012 the "Ivy League Scam Artist.") His attempt to get an early release date recently failed.
  • Cynthia Bailey's daughter Noelle wants to become a dentist - possibly. So she gets an internship with an actual dentist.

QUOTE OF THE DAY

"You can Kim and her family out of the trailer park, but you cannot take the trailer park out of Kim and her family." - Kenya, on Kim Zolciak.
