Less than a year after a video was released showing Kathy Griffin holding what looked like Donald Trump's bloody head, the comic is on the comeback trail.

She apologized at the time, then rescinded her apology. The Department of Justice even investigated her. She lost concert dates and sponsorships, along with her gig on CNN's New Year's show. Trump fans attacked her mercilessly.

For months, she laid low before doing some tour dates overseas last fall. (She said she was detained in numerous countries since she had been placed on an Interpol list.) Now she's been embarking on a domestic tour and doing media interviews with The Hollywood Reporter and  Bill Maher . Her first Carnegie Hall date sold out in March.

Now she'll be at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta September 21.  Tickets go on sale Friday, May 4, 2018 at 10 a.m.

The North American tour begins next month, including dates in San Francisco, Seattle and Boston.

What is she calling her tour? "Laugh Your Head Off."

“Donald Trump will not survive the live and hilarious indictment I will be bringing down on his orange head.  Did I say head?” Griffin said in a press release.
