Good news for folks following the saga of Star 94.1 host Jenn Hobby's young daughter Reese's' cancer fight: she is all clear!

Five months ago, her one-year-old daughter was diagnosed with a tumor near the base of her spine. She had multiple rounds of chemo to shrink it and then major surgery after Thanksgiving to remove what was left of it.

After a few weeks of recovery, the doctors at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta did an MRI to see if anything was there. She was fine and there is no evidence she has any cancer left in her body.

As of today, her colleague Jeff Dauler noted, "she is a normal, crazy-active 16 month old."

"We've endured this journey together," Hobby wrote on Facebook, "from the first day our worlds were rocked by Reese's cancer diagnosis until today. We've laughed, cried, hoped, and prayed…so much love and support from friends, family, and the entire metro-Atlanta community were wrapped around our lil' fighter and our family."

She added, in a text message: "I feel like I can breathe real oxygen for the first time since August. We are so grateful. So relieved. So thankful to this community for all the support and prayers."

Jenn and her husband Grant Rivera are putting together an online fund to benefit research that the doctor who saved Reese's life is doing.

Coincidentally, that fund was approved the day of Reese's MRI and went active yesterday, just a couple of hours before they got the news about Reese. You can donate at www.choa.org/reese.
