Fans clamoring for an Xscape reunion finally got their wish when the ladies confirmed to V-103's Big Tigger that they are indeed back together and suggested they're ready to work on a new album and tour.

Tamika Scott, Kandi Burruss and Tameka "Tiny" Cottle visited the station this week for their first joint interview in nearly 20 years to share the news (LaTocha Scott was on the phone for the interview and posted an affirmative message on Instagram).

“Watching the New Edition story made me think about our legacy about the group,” Burruss said about the group’s decision to reunite.

Added LaTocha Scott, “They say separation brings on appreciation, so, we’re back.”

The Atlanta quartet released three platinum-selling albums in the 1990s that spawned six Top 10 hits in the Billboard Hot 100, including “Just Kickin’ It,” “Who Can I Run To” and “My Little Secret.”

“Anything else you hear is gonna be our legacy and what we’re doing next,” Tamika Scott said.

While Xscape wasn't ready to confirm future plans "until the ink dries," Burruss commented, "I am looking forward to performing again with my group members."

The quartet's last album was 1998’s “Traces of My Lipstick.”
